On top of this, our vitamins are formulated with ingredients that may also be included in your prenatal or breastfeeding supplement, which may lead to certain vitamins or minerals being taken in excess.

These tablets are 2cm long, 0.8cm wide and 0.5cm thick – about the size of 2 coffee beans stuck together.

They're also coated in a vegan film coating and have a break bar in the middle to make them easier to swallow.

In Ayurveda, Anupana (that material which is consumed along with food or medicine) is a substance (such as water or milk) that acts as a vehicle or carrier used to enhance the absorption and effectiveness of a herb. So by consuming Shilajit with warm milk or warm water, this may improve the bioavailability of nutrients thus supporting the absorption. Further to this, warm milk has a relaxing and calming effect so it facilitates the digestive process.

8:1 is the ratio of the extract. This tells us the strength and potency of the final product. 8:1 means there are 8 parts of raw product to 1 part extract. A higher potency extract generally means better absorption.

While there are no specific interactions listed, we always recommend speaking with your health practitioner before using any supplements if you are taking prescribed medications.
